On August 11th, absent something big and unforseen, I am closing
on a townhouse and finally moving from the world of renting to the world of
owning. Most
of my friends say that it is about time. At the home inspection, Cynthia
and I took a bunch of pictures. Here are a few
that
give
the best impression
of
the
place.
The
funiture
of
course will not come with it. Instead, I'll put some of my stuff in there,
but coming from a smaller place it won't be much, so it will be pretty bare
and empty and undecorated at first. I'll be working on adjusting that
as I get settled, but it may take awhile.
So when you look at these, imagine what it would look like with
no furniture and me sitting in the middle of the floor surrounded by boxes. That
will be about right. :-)

The view from the street. Those are the bedroom windows. Garage on the left side. Just the one garage door. The other is the neighbor's. Two parking spots on the driveway in front of the garage. |
