Update based on further conversation with @JD outside of this thread. What he is seeing is a Safari render error showing the audio bar. It also effects the podcasts I post weekly, and is a problem that started showing up about a month ago. Don’t know if it is a Safari issue, or an issue with the plugin I use on my blog to show audio, either way, it is a recent error. It looks like it effects iPhone Safari as well as Desktop Safari, but for some reason iPad Safari shows it fine. In any case, the play button is there, it is just helpfully rendered as black on black so you can’t see it. Click just to the left of where it says 00:00 and it will start playing. :-)
Oh, and I lied. iPad Safari does the same as the other Safari’s. I’d just gotten so used to it I see the play button in my head it seems. It *sometimes* briefly shows the play button before it turns black, but once it settles it is black on black too. Works the same way, you can still click it, you just can’t see it.
She is quite good. It is fun listening to her belt things out at home in the middle of the night. I hope soon she starts recording some of it with the mic and such we got her for Christmas. :-)

Recorded by iPhone but can’t be played back by one? Ironic much?
@JD: It is an mp3. Should play fine. You need to click through to my site though, Facebook doesn’t include the actual file.
@HN: I like that song too. :-)
@JD: Just listened no problem on my iPad. It is just you. :-)
Fabulous job!

Yup – that got it! I’ll check it out more when I get home, but it sounds great for the first few seconds I listened to it.

Nice! Remember a few years ago some panic at doing a solo – she has gained confidence – and she delivered!
