Which of the articles did you like? Or just the whole “Daily Post O’ Links”. :-)

Specifically the “Alex is 2 1/2” – my niece just turned 3 and is a wiz with the iPhone so that cracked me up. And I liked the ‘biblical view’ link …. a lot as that is right up my alley :)

Hmmm, you posted “Good post!” some 16 hours before the Alex is 2.5 post hit the web, so your psychic powers are working well today! Glad you found some of the articles interesting. I thought that history of evangelical views on abortion was very interesting. Given that a lot of the changes they refer to happened when I was very young (or before I was born) I wasn’t really aware that it had changed so much. It is easy to assume things always were they way they are today, but more often than not, things actually change quite a bit…

Oh well I went back … couldn’t remember the title of the post. When I went back I saw the Alex post. Saw the date but didn’t take note of the time so I thought I missed it earlier. LOL So when you asked I just figured I would include it as well since I enjoyed it. :)

Well thanks then. :-) Your niece likes the iPhone too huh? It really seems like kids that age (and younger!) take to iPhones and iPads and the like really easily. Alex was playing simple games on the iPhone starting at 6 or 7 months or some such. Now he’s always asking for the phone. We actually gave him one of our old iPhone 3’s (with no more cell service) after we upgraded to iPhone 4’s, but we almost never remember to charge it, so he ends up using ours.

Yes she cracks me up with it. My mother (total non-tech person) can’t even figure out how to flip through the pictures. Mia walked over to her and said “Mimi you just do this with your finger” then proceeded to slap her hand to her forehead. I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe. LOL

Silly grownups. They act like using an iPhone isn’t something normal that you’ve done since you were a baby! :-)

It’s funny. She still had one of those Fisher Price toy phones, the ones that had cords and dials. They got rid of it because she didn’t understand it and said it wasn’t a phone. :)

Interesting. Alex by contrast has one of those, and a couple other things that have old phones as part of them, and he completely knows they are phones, holds the handsets to his head the right way, gives them to you to talk, etc. Of course, for a long time when he was closer to one or one and a half, EVERYTHING was a phone. If it was even remotely rectangular, he would pick it up and call it a phone and talk to it. Remote controls, calculators, etc. All phones.
