After much confusion about where and when to meet and a lot of driving in circles, we met Kathy for a 15 minute conversation in a gas station parking lot. We are getting food from Subway now… then we will be on our way once again. We have stopped for the night in Perry, GA. Time for bed. Everything is spic and span. Mostly thanks to Brandy. The last goodbyes were said. We loaded the car. Finally we locked the door for the last time. We are now headed north on I-95. We’ll see how far we get tonight. But we are on our way… I, Brandy, Amy, Cheese, Skittles, Zuri, Mike, six zebra danios, three male betas, one female guppy, one neon tetra, about 19 crickets and about 50 snails… are on our way. As of a few hours ago the house is empty except what we are taking with us. We’ve been cleaning and spending some final time in the pool. We’re heading out for dinner now. One of Amy’s friends from the neighborhood is going with us. Then a few errands. Then once we drop the friend back home it is off to a hotel. There are no beds. Our last night at home has already happened. :-( Tommorow one last time back home in the morning then we will be on our way! |
